CLASS DESCRIPTIONS
HATHA YOGA
Explores asana (postures) and gentle flow. If you are an advanced practitioner feel free to deepen your practice during class. Beginner friendly.
CHAIR YOGA
Hatha class exploring basic movement, body awareness and range of motion using a chair as a prop.
DRUMMING
Learn basic rhythms (Mid Eastern emphasis). Beginner friendly.
YIN YOGA
Gentle and contemplative style of yoga that focuses on long-held, passive poses designed to target the connective tissues in the body, such as ligaments, tendons, and fascia. In contrast to more dynamic forms of yoga, Yin yoga emphasizes deep stretching and relaxation, allowing practitioners to access a state of meditative stillness. By holding poses for extended periods, often between three to five minutes or even longer, Yin yoga promotes flexibility, joint mobility, and mental calmness, making it an ideal practice for those seeking a slower, more introspective approach to yoga and a way to release physical and emotional tension.
MAT PILATES
This Pilates class will provide a safe and nurturing environment to explore and challenge our bodies. We will learn ways to stabilize and strengthen our joints and muscles and deepen our mind/ body connection. This beginner friendly class will honor your current fitness level and progressively challenge you to make improvements in strength and endurance.
BEGINNER STRENGTH TRAINING
Beginner Strength Training Program consists of 12 sessions over 4 weeks focusing on proper form for fundamental exercises using body weight and resistance bands.

Karen received certification as a Yoga Instructor in 2004 and co-founded Danville Yoga and Meditation Center located in Danville, Virginia. The "Center" is thriving under the care and leadership of Cyndi Reames.

Heather is passionate about empowering women to take control of their physical and emotional health. Heather lives in the enchanted woods near Buffalo Mountain with her partner, two children and a menagerie of pets that meow, woof and cluck.
MASSAGE WITH EDEN WOOLWINE
Eden Woolwine completed her training at the Blue Ridge School of Massage and Yoga and has been practicing massage for 15 years,
She is trained in various massage modalities including Swedish, deep tissue, shiatsu, Thai massage, prenatal, sports and medical massage.
In addition, Eden is also a dietician with degrees in Psychology and Human Nutrition, Foods and Exercise from Virginia Tech, vintage and merchant owner of Eden's Emporium, yoga instructor with 200 hour Ashtanga based training from VRSMY and herbalist student at the Chestnut School of Herbal Medicine.

PRIVATE TUNING FORK SESSION
Tuning Fork Therapy makes use of vibrational frequencies that increase energy flow in the body, increases and removes blocked energy.
It is a non-invasive therapy similar to acupuncture but without body contact. Tuning Fork Therapy can help reduce tension, promote emotional harmony, have a positive effect on blood pressure, relieve pain within bone and muscle, serves as an alternative treatment for anxiety, PTSD, sleep disorders and balance and unblock chakra wheels.
