Mallory’s fitness journey teaching Pound began three years ago after participating in a local class for three years. When not teaching Pound Mallory enjoys reading, singing, and spending time with her friends and family.

Join Patricia & Sherri for an afternoon of drumming and dance. Class will start with Sherri as she guides the class through a series of gentle stretches to prepare the body for drumming. Next we will learn West African dance and drumming with Patricia and members of the Kuumba Dance Family. The Kuumba Dance Family has been sharing West African Dance and Drumming with the community since 2006. Sherri will end the class with a guided meditation to help the class integrate the experience. Class is donation based Patricia is a lifetime learner and teacher of traditional style West African Dance and is dedicated to educating and sharing culture through the celebration of dance The founder of the "Kuumba Dance Family", Patricia has been dancing since birth but started studying West African Style Dance and Drumming in 2002. Patricia has studied with various West dance teachers on the East Coast from Tallahassee Florida to New York City including Kadioutu Conte from Guinea West Africa.
